This is great. I’ve taken Barkley to a few of these places. I find some places though are “dog tolerant”. It’s not a great experience if there is no where indoors to eat or drink with your dog, but they don’t allow you to leave the dog alone in the room. Room service is your only option. The Twelve is great. The restaurant is fab and the dog suite is just down the hall, so you check on them easily.
Completely agree. The hotels that allow you bring your dog to the bar or somewhere indoors are the best. The ones that won’t allow the dog to be on their own when you’re on the premises are probably the poorest. In those cases, we put Clara into the car, where she has a blanket and is cozy.
Saving all of these for future ref 🐾
What a great list -- have you been to Mount Congreve Gate Lodge yet? Very accommodating for dogs!
Not yet, it’s on the to-do list!

Good idea, but Barkley would hate that!
Lough Inagh Hotel in Galway is very dog friendly and the view is spectacular
